New Arrivals →I have 5 Ellie’s - wildflower embroidery in a medium, coral baroque in a medium, black crepe in a small, navy stripe in a small, and spearmint/lilac floral jacquard in a small. I am 5’4” (and a half) and weigh about 140 lbs.
The two medium’s I have I could have sized down for the small as they’re cotton, but I can still wear them without any issue, though sometimes the straps fall when I’m sitting. The fabric of the black crepe is my absolute favorite. The spearmint/lilac I should have sized up in a medium due to the fabric, and it’s a little itchy, but I will still be able to wear it.
They all look fabulous and I always get compliments! Would love to hear how some of the other fabrics fit!
Will be buying another!
Especially great for breastfeeding and postpartum, but I know I’ll wear after those stages too.
I’m not sure why I waited this long to purchase this dress but I’m so glad I finally ordered an Ellie Nap Dress.. It’s flattering and forgiving even when I gain a few pounds. Perfect for travel and I love to wear it when I entertain. I am definitely going to order another color soon because it’s my new favorite dress. I am very happy with the way the size small fits-I normally wear a small or a medium. I weigh 128 pounds and my bust measures 32DD.
This is my 5th nap dress I’ve purchased. They are truly my favorite pieces I own, and work for so many different occasions. I’m 8 months pregnant and these dresses are some of my own clothes that still comfortably fit and flatter me. I have the cotton kind too, but in the summer heat I find that I prefer the wrinkle resistant material. It’s lighter and it’s so nice to not have to remember to iron it!
I’m 5’8, very pregnant, and ordered a S. I think I could’ve sized down to an XS, but the S doesn’t look or feel too big, just not as fitted and tight in the bust area. So it works well for this season of life.
